openGL 1.1 to 2.1

is there any way at all to run an opengl2.1 game on a opengl1.1 graphics card?
i have intel graphics 4 express series family. i have 128MB dedicated memory and 1836MB of shared memory. the should ru fine cause it's only 2D and not cpu intensive or gpu.

Unfortunately no...... You will need a graphics card that supports opengl 2.0

going down is easy all have backward compatibility. But if you have no support for 2.1 then you're out of luck.
