Hello guys.
As tittled I have some issues regarding OpenGl backwards compatiblity. I need to run some software on my workstation which uses OpenGl 2.1.
Now I have an old graphics card ( ATI Radeon HD4350 ) it is compatible with OpenGl, but not with the version 2.1.
I know I can buy any cheap card that supports a higher version, but I'm not quite sure if it will work with version 2.1. Does it even matter? If I buy a card which supports a highter version than 2.1 will it work? Or do I really need one which supports version 2.1.
