I just bought a GeForce 2 MX Card. It does really well in benchmarking, EXCEPT for OpenGL, in which its does pretty lousy.

I have the latest Detonator drivers from Nvidia.

Does anyone know why it would be benchmarking lousy in OpenGL? Any tweaks I can do to help this?

Thanks!

The GF2MX SHOULD do very well in OpenGL when using nvidias drivers.
You should note that if you are using Unreal Tournament (or any other game that uses the UT engine, eg. Rune) for OpenGL testing, you are doomed to get bad results, as the UT engine can be very slow in OpenGL.

If using a VIA chipset (on the mainboard) you could try to get the latest AGP driver at www.viatech.com
Just download the latest 4-in-1.

I have a BX board.

I'm using WinTune (latest version)for the benchmarking, and that's where I'm getting the low OpenGL scores from. Is there another BMing software which might give more accurate results?

Thanks.
