Question opening jar file

i am unable to open jar files on my computer.I have tried all the solutions available online yet it doesnt open.Can someone please guide me on what to do to solve this or possibly use an app to enter my computer and get this fixed.thanks

i have downloaded the latest version of java several times yet it doesnt open the jar files when i doubleclick

i have been on this issue for almost one week.it has halted all my projects.please can someone enter my computer and fix this?

Have you tried doing it from the command prompt?

nope i didnt use the command prompt approach because i totally didnt understand how it works
