Opening NAT through router (conflicting IP range with modem)

Hi,

I will try to describe my problem as simple and as clear as possible.

In my living room there is a modem with IP 192.168.1.1 wich is connected to my studyroom router with IP 192.168.0.1
Now, everything works fine (internet connection) but here is the catch;
I have a Xbox360 connected to my router (wich is a wireless connection btw). I want to open the NAT connection on my Xbox. Everything is done correctly, the only problem is that the modem/router IP addresses are not in range of each other and my Xbox doesnt open the NAT.

My question is how do I change the IP adress on my router to 192.168.1.xxx?
The xxx part is not a problem, the .1 is.

I hope you guys can detect my problem and have a solution for me.

Your running TWO networks, the 192.169.1.x network (modem) and then your own second 192.168.0.1 network (router in study). Doesn't the Modem come with wireless built in? Normally all ISP are providing a Modem / Router (which yours is since it is dolling out IPs) with Wireless.

Easiest solution, run only the ISP provided modem/router with it's wireless. If it doesn't "reach" the XBox, buy a cheap simple 'repeater/extender' that you play halfway between the Modem/ Router and your XBOX, to 'extend' the wireless network. Otherwise you would need to turn off the DHCP on the Studyroom Router, and basically dumb it to just a expensive repeater, so the IP assignment would come ONLY from the Router / Modem (everyone is 192.168.1.something)

Thanks for the quick reply.
I will pick up a repeater at the shop tomorrow. I also have a wired connection from my studyroom router to a PC in there, so using a repeater to push the modem network to my xbox is the only solution.
