Hi

No current version of Microsoft Windows can read a Adobe Acrobat PDF file without a program such as Acrobat Reader or similar programs (FoxIt pdf reader etc)

Many PC Builders will include the required software.

Can you see Adobe Acrobat Reader on your PC. ?
If it is there maybe the file association between Acrobat Reader and PDF is broken
