Opening thief 2014 shows black screen

Just got thief 2014.....
When i open it , it just shows black screen.... no music..... no menu... no nothing. .. just dark lcd of my laptop....
Is there any solution plz?

Its a purchased dvd for pc.....

I've searched youtube. ... where they told me to run game in windowed mode.... it didn't work. ...
