operating system key in BIOS

I have a laptop with windows 8 on it and i know the key is in the bios but i was wondering if there is any way i can use that key on my new pc ? i already have the key from the bios but it wont let me use it.

If you've already activated the windows license on that computer, you can't install it on another computer at the same time.
