operating system not working

my operating system not working with 100 Gb hard Drive(single Partition) more than 50 Gb free space . How do i fix it?

Unknown. If could be a physical problem with the disk. It could be a RAM problem. It could be ANYTHING. You haven't clearly described the problem, or your system.

With a 100GB disk, my guess is your hardware is REALLY OLD. Your disk drive may have just reached it's failure point. You may just have to buy a new disk, install a clean OS and then HOPE you can read some of your data from the old disk.
