Opgrading current pc

Hello im about to upgrade my old pc a bit, with a new motherboard, memory, and processor.
I have a r9 280 3gb, not the best but it will do for now.
So far im thinking of buying:
ASUS Z170-A
Intel i5 6600k
16gb g.skill ripjaws V 3200mhz
Is this a good setup, and will my XFX ProSeries Core Edition 550W PSU still be enough?

The PSU should be enough. But for about the same price you could get a mildly better i5-7600K and a Z270 chipset. Why not go with the latest standards? Don't forget a good heatsink. K series CPU do not include one.

Also don't forget a new Windows license. If you don't have a retail key you will need a new license.

I didnt really think the z270 was better, should i go for something like
ASUS PRIME Z270-A then?
