i'm on the verge of getting a eurocom monte carlo with the mobility 9600 card. ive waited a long time for the card. do u think i should get it from them or wait for the card to come in a more mainstream notebook, like dell or hp. here r the specs:
p4 2.6 with ht, 512 ram, 40 gig, 9600 with 12b mb, dvd-r/rw, 15 inch screen. 8.2 pounds and 1.8 inch thick. costs about $2200. do u think its ok to go with this company. the reason im shying away from dell and hp is that the card will prob. be introduced in a wide aspect screen (which i hate) and the dvd format is +r which is not compatible with my dvd player. i am a bit concerned that since its a desktop chip it will have no battery life. well, can't have it all.
