opinion about psu

Hi,

I need to buy a psu for my new pc, around 500 - 550 W. I was tempted by the XFX ts 550W 80+ gold, since I've read good reviews on it. What do you think about it? I am mainly concerned about the safety of my pc and the problem of coil whine. Otherwise, can you suggest a better psu at the same price?
