Hello

I'm planning on buy a new PC and my main focus is gaming. I have an issue is that I travel 1or2 times a year. So, I consider buying a mini PC.
It will cost around 820 USD
GMKtec K4 Mini PC
Ryzen 9 7940HS
iGPU Radeon 780M
Ram 32 DDR5 5600
1TB SSD
WiFi 6 Bluetooth 5.2

Is it good?
Any suggestions on a similar performing laptop or computer on the same budget?

Thank you in advance

This isn't any good for travelling but you will have a better gaming experience. Add this card to that build down below when it's released in a few weeks from now.

Any reason for going for the ryzen 9 route?

The Asus ROG ally handheld is about 700 USD if am not wrong. It got the same 780M gpu and an 8 core CPU. with the USB-C cable, you can connect it to a monitor, kb & mouse.

If you want something a bit more powerful:

I did not clarify that but I live in the Maldives currently. Shipping is an extra money to be considered

The 800 includes the shipping fees for the mini PC

I like and will consider your suggestion regarding ROG ally.

Do you really need the portability of a laptop?
If not, you can usually do better for the money with a desktop.
Gaming laptops have heat issues causing throttling.
With a laptop, you have no upgrade capability other than storage.
Laptop screens are small, a desktop monitor can be larger and more immersive.
