I've built a new PC and everything is working well. Currently using a crummy USB wifi card(connectivity, speeds terrible). I have the open M.2 slot on the motherboard and think that's a possibility of adding wifi/bluetooth. But asking the community their thoughts on using that M.2 slot vs a PCI add in card. Pricing is similar and I have 2 open PCI slots. No intention of using the M.2 slot for anything else at the moment. Any thoughts on which is the better route to go? And is the M.2 slot even a possibility? Gigabyte is the MB(b360m) and their compatibility list for M2 lists only memory devices.

Solution
I considered the same thing as you. I went with PCIe and for the past year am glad I did. I was able to get 3 x 3 antenna and it has outstanding Wifi range and speed.
