Hello, I'm about to buy my parts next week and need your opinion on my PC. My budget for everything is no more than $1450. I will be using this PC for gaming at 1080p 60fps on most games at high settings. I also want to play eSports games like CS:GO and Overwatch at 100+ fps.

The anti-static mat is totally unnecessary. Just touch a large metal object occasionally while building, and don't build it while wearing shoes on carpet.

The parts should work together well.

I don't know if you need one, but there's no mouse.

For eSports and CS:GO, this build is total overkill. You can run those on the 1050 Ti with a Pentium G4560. If you want to play more demanding games later, though, it's quite solid.

I will be playing demanding games on my computer as well as well. I already have a mouse. For the mat, I know you don't need it, but I'm really paranoid that I will forget to to ground myself and I will zap a part.

Why should I get the 1600 vs. the 1600x? Thanks for recommending the power supply, now realize I don't need 650w.

the 1600 and 1600X overclocks abt the same. if u plan to do some crazy overclocking with a beefy cooler like cryorig r1, noctua nh d15 or kraken x62 to hit 4.2 ghz, then 1600X is what u need. for normal tasks and gaming, a 1600 oc'ed to 4.0 is enough.

the stock cooler is a beefier one. no worries there. as for ram, i prioritized on he make of the ram model. g.skill trident z, patriot viper elite r samsung b die rams. just checked, the ripjaws v 3200 cas 16 is samsung b die. go for them 😉

Does the 1600 come with a tube of thermal paste, or will i have to buy one.

it already has the thermal paste pre applied. u have to buy one i think, if u want to change it.
