After 6 years, I decided to fully upgrade my PC. I mainly use my PC for gaming and illustration. After doing some research and discussing with friends, I put the following build together:

CPU: i7-7700K (4.2 GHz) http://amzn.eu/0RmOtV9
GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Gaming ICX http://bit.ly/2sdqWPw
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (4x8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz http://amzn.eu/0oAAHRS
Mobo: ASUS LGA 1151 Strix Z270E Gaming http://amzn.eu/exZqTeD
Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 (280mm) http://amzn.eu/hXCXESj
Fans: NZXT Aer RGB (140mm) - Pack of 3 http://amzn.eu/c7uIA9T
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass (Full Tower) http://bit.ly/2rNY43s

I will use the PSU, SSD and HDD from my current build:

SSD: Crucial MX300 (750 GB) http://amzn.eu/9Z3fxIc
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda (3 TB) http://amzn.eu/fSbruYw
PSU: Corsair CX750 (80 Plus Bronze) http://amzn.eu/arf092Z

I use 2 monitors (LG 29UM68 29" UltraWide and Dell U2311H 23") if that helps.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome!

Thanks in advance :)

If I was building this, I would put a 80+ gold psu (at least), but that's just me.
other than that pretty good build.

Looks good, I'd prefer Noctua 140mm fans over NZXT (I _think_ they perform better/are more quiet), but I think you'll be very happy with your new machine 🙂

I would get a better power supply, the CX 750 is not a quality unit by any means and does not compliment your expensive build very well. The power supply holds the life of your 800 dollar gpu and all the other expensive parts in your build in its hands, I would not trust a power supply like that in a build worth that much money.

Perfect build, very well picked components imo. The only thing I would add is an M.2 SSD for boot drive.

Noctua fans look like crap though, it would be a shame to ruin the look of that beautiful case with those getto looking fans. They might be 0.1% quieter but the difference is really not worth anything, let alone ruining the aestetics. The main advantage of Noctua fans is their agreesive marketing techniques (wink wink).

Thanks guys. I was actually "worried" about the PSU, so I'm glad you brought that up. I will definitely look into alternatives.

Any suggestions for a PSU then?

I'm gonna have to agree with nonsleeper. I don't like the look of Noctua fans at all. I'm looking for something that pleases the eye since I will be displaying the case on my desk. Hence I picked the RGB fans (plus all my friends have it and highly recommend it). Thanks a lot for the suggestion though :)

The EVGA and Seasonic PSU are really nice quality.

This one won't break the bank, but it will give you lots of headroom and piece of mind. It will also keep the system quieter and cooler.

The G1 EVGA units like the NEX built by HEC are not the greatest quality and 750watts is above what I would recommend for best efficiency with the load that system will put on it. I would look into EVGA G2 or G3 units, they are all built by superflower and very good. I linked a few good psu's below.

EDIT: My mistake, that EVGA NEX is actually built by FSP I believe, the older one was HEC. I'm am not sure how good that one is, but FSP usually makes some good psu's.
