Hi guys, I've been looking online for power supplies, and you know. Something that won't burn my house down that's pretty good and wattage that gives me headroom for future upgrades.
I'll probably upgrade to an i5 6600k and a GTX 1070 when I feel as if I need to.

So I looked on the Price Drops on pcpartpicker, and saw a Corsair CSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular on sale for $59.99 on Newegg.(If someone would rather recommend a different power supply, please note I'd rather not spend more than $70.00USD, but I can spend a little more IF NEEDED.)

Has anyone had this power supply in the past? I understand that there's always that bad batch of the bunch, but has anyone had any major problems with it?

Part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/g2JPKZ

Thanks Everyone.

Total...
It's a pretty "meh" power supply. It's budgety, cheap caps and stuff. A really solid choice imo would be something like EVGA 550W G2, or any good Seasonic. Worth the investment for the quality.

By the way, I'd imagine when you get around to upgrading new stuff would be coming out / almost coming out and it would be more worth it to wait on it, mainly video card wise.

I found a refurbished RM650X on Newegg for $69.99. I'm not one to buy refurbished parts, but I really can't afford a new one for $109.99..
