Opinion on upgrading system

8GB RAM

is this going to be good for next 2 years of generation of games on med-high settings? or even high? I only play on 1600x900 resulotion.

a gtx 960 is a medium/high settings 1080p card

it should have no problem running games on high+ 1600 x 900

Will an i3 3220 bottleneck the gtx 960? because I am not planing on playing heavy multiplayer games like GTA V online or battlefield only single player games.

I have the same gpu and cpu and I can play gta v on ultra with a advanced slider on and 2xmsaa 50fps with OC Its a very good card and overclocker

the i3 has guts, but some games are just too much for it
