Opinion on Visiontek 400712 6970

I found quite a bargain on 6970 on tiger direct. it seems its an older version (400712) compared to current (900353 +50$) what do you think?

I currently run single 5770, and I want to upgrade for battefield 3 and skyim. since second 5770 used is still going on ebay for 100$ and CF is =5850 I thought I'd sell mine and get this one?

I'd suggest sell both the 5770s on eBay if you can and get this. It's a good card and worth the price.
It would be like selling your CF setup for a single card, but, it'll be like exchanging the 5850 for a 6970, which in fact, is a welcome deal anyday.

Yeah, I'm not really asking if I should upgrade or no, I'm more interested in this particular video card and model. Since I don't see too many reviews.. maybe it has problems with overheating or something. Because its a refurbished car and all others I find are newer model.. maybe they fixed something and released new cards.

Regardless it's a Refurbished card, it's a reference designed model, which means it will run hotter and more noisy than the current non-reference designed ones.
Spend extra $30 and get something more reliable.
