Hi folks, I'm planning to build a new PC, mostly for work and casual gaming. I already chose my components but I wonder if this build is good enough to be extensible.

I'll buy a GPU (RX 580 or so), another CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) and HDD next, that's why I picked a 550W PSU, but I need something cheaper meanwhile, so I'm looking for opinions.

Added a better CPU without IGPU. Added GT1030 in replacement.
Ryzen likes ram speed, so I went for a 3000mhz kit.
Went with a cheaper motherboard to compensate for the changes above.

Looks pretty good actually.

I would definitely up the RAM speed to at least 3000.

If I were you, I'd just wait until you can afford a 3600 and the GPU, it seems a little odd to buy a whole other CPU just for a temporary basis, but that's just me

Thanks, for your response. The problem is that I need my new PC as soon as possible, I can't do web development with my old Intel Core Duo, is just too slow, even my mobile is faster! I'll change the RAM to 3000Mhz (or 3200Mhz?) as you said, actually it fits on my budget.

I'm considering Ryzen 5 1600, it's a bit cheaper and faster, as suggested here: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/opinions-on-this-build.3522520/post-21282412 (my apologies for the double post, didn't notice the first one), the problem is the GPU, I feel like I'm wasting money by buying a GT 1030 LP. At least the Ryzen 5 2400G will be useful until I buy something better I think.

Which is better PSU Corsair TX550M or BitFenix Formula Gold 550W? BitFenix Formula Gold is slightly cheaper, so I can improve other parts.

I'd imagine going for the 3600 then getting a really cheap discrete GPU might be better suited depending on cost, but you can pick up a really cheap GPU for next to nothing, rather than spend over 100 euros on a CPU. You could probably pay 50 and get a GPU that will do what you need for now.

If you're getting a 3rd Gen Ryzen, opt for 3200 CL16.

Unfortunately you've just linked me a duplicate thread, wherby the moderators will merge them anyway as multiple threads are not allowed! Remix's is a good suggestion too.

They're both excellent PSUs frankly, however I'd opt for the TXM as it has 2 more years warranty and is frankly built a bit like a tank.
