Opinions for my performance with gtx 950 + i5 4460 + 8 gb ram

Im upgrading my pc and im just seeking for some advice.

A GTX 950 would probably be better suited to an i3 for gaming, so you could save some money there and still get decent performance if it's for a gaming rig. I'm currently using a GTX 970 with an i5 4460, and for the games I play it's a good match, I don't get held back by the cpu in games (I run 1440p resolution as well).

So if it's for gaming, you'd probably be better off with either a slightly more powerful gpu, or the GTX 950 with an i3 instead.
