[SOLVED] Opinions needed on this gaming pc (I’m a noob)

First of all, I hope I’m posting this in the correct section.

So, I’d like to buy a gaming pc, but I don’t know much about them. I found one that interested me — it’s a pre-owned PC that scores well on pc game benchmark. Here are the specs:

Custom Liquid Cooled EVGA GTX 980ti 6GB GPU With NZXT G12 Bracket

Ryzen 7 1700x

16gb 2666 mhz DDR4 RAM

2TB Hard Drive

256Gb Kingston M.2 SSD

EVGA 600w 80+ PSU

Corsair Carbide 275R Case

MSI A320M-A PRO M2 Motherboard

Benchmarks

Cod Warzone Highest Settings - 90FPS Average

Fortnite Highest Settings - 70FPS Average

Superposition Benchmark High (Regular Benchmark Not Stress Test) - 9408 Score 70 FPS Average

This PC is available for around £650 (890$)

In terms of what I’d like to play, I’m mostly just looking to play GTA 4 and GTA 5 both with mods,
the upcoming esports boxing club game, some of the older CODs, and perhaps Fifa.

I’m not looking to have the most amazing graphics. Good graphics and no less than 50 FPS (ideally 60 plus though) will be fine for me. I’d like a PC that is also somewhat future proof. Something that could theoretically run GTA 6 fairly well.

So, what are your opinions on this PC? Would I be getting a good deal? Would this suit my needs?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

That pc has a lot of flaws.

Cheap power supply for a 980ti, very cheap motherboard for the 1700x, slow ram that will reduce performance.

Plus its simply overpriced by a fair margin.
I appreciate the response. I know very little about gaming PCs. Do you think I should steer clear of this one, then? My budget is only around £800. I’d be willing to get a different power supply in a few months. If the motherboard isn’t good though then that’s an issue.

I would steer clear unless the seller were willing to lower the price a lot.

The motherboard will work, but it is an extremely low end board paired with nearly the highest end CPU available at the time. I would imagine the VRMs might get hot and overall the motherboard will limit future upgraded.

The power supply, if it is 80+ regular, is a low end unit as well. It will probably work, but is not a good choice with a hogh power draw GPU like a 980ti. It may not he reliable in the long term, and it will also limit future upgrades.

Overall, the storage, power supply, and motherboard seem like the builder cut corners to reduce cost.

I'd stay away from this. It's basically $900 for a 980 Ti and a 1700X. Don't want to use this PSU. The motherboard is a weird purchase with a 1700X and Zen 3 won't be an option. The memory is very slow for a Ryzen and I'd have zero interest in this case if it's not the Airflow variant. And you can find 1700X CPUs for £70-80. Too many parts are dead ends and to be honest, I'd be suspicious of how well this is assembled and taken care of considering the whole configuration seems poorly thought out.

Thanks to everyone who has helped. I think I’m going to steer clear of this PC (unless I can get the seller to knock a decent chunk off it).

@Why_Me I am going to keep your suggestion in mind. Building a PC is a bit daunting though and I would prefer to find a used system for a good price if possible. I’ll probably make a thread in a few days asking for some help finding a good used system.

Thanks again to everybody who contributed.
