I am currently using an Acer Predator XB271HUABMIPRZ. It's a 27", 1440P, 165Hz, 1ms, VA panel. I have been keeping an eye on 4K monitors for a while now. My main reason for upgrading would be a jump to a 32" monitor. I've never seen a 4K display so I don't know what I'm missing but my 1440P looks pretty darn good to me.
Is it worth sacrificing the FPS while gaming and pushing my GPU to it's limits for 4K. I am playing Cyberpunk 2077 right now and I have everything set to ultra including ray tracing and have DLSS set to quality and I am getting an average of 70FPS. It seems to me if I went 4K I would have to turn down some settings or turn DLSS to max performance.
I know some people will say that 1440P 32" won't look good but I am currently using Windows scaling at 150%, so not too concerned with that. Obviously a 1440P will be cheaper than a 4K. I'm really wondering if 4K is worth it visually over a 2K?
