So the last couple of weeks i noticed that my power supply is making a crackling noise just like the one you can hear in this video:
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pSMfY9XvWU
the difference between the issue that the video is showing and my issue is, that my power supply doesn't make that noise unless if i actually play a demanding game, lately i have been playing god of war and dying light 2 on somewhat of high settings, and those 2 games are the only ones that actually make my PSU make that sound, and i would assume its because the fan starts spinning else other games i play that are not so demanding doesn't actually make the PSU fan start since i have an evga supernova g2 that has eco mode that i turned on from the day i bought it.

So i was looking into buying a new power supply in like a week an half since my monthly payment drops during that time, and i was looking into buying this PSU from Newegg: https://www.newegg.com/global/qa-en/corsair-rmx-series-rm750x-cp-9020179-na-750w/p/N82E16817139233?Description=power supply&cm_re=power_supply--17-139-233--Product&quicklink=true

Would you guys think this is enough for my setup? i have an i5 9600k and 2080 super that am using currently.

thank you in advance to anyone that suggests anything.

Hey there,

So the short answer is, that's a stellar PSU. Top quality. Perfect for your build.

That PSU should be plenty, for your system. Though at that price, I would consider spending the extra $3 and get an 850w, for more headroom.

I would usually agree on that, but i went with the 750 rmx because the price in the local currency here is 391 QR the PSU that you suggested i went and checked on the QA newegg and its 671QR and thats is way outside my budget sadly, even though i really love the evga g2 supernova that am using currently.

The rmx is pretty good.

If it was my PC I'd just swap the fan on the G2 and call it a day, but you know what they say: no user serviceable parts inside. meaning users shouldn't open the unit bc they could touch internals and get shocked, damage other components while trying to fix something else, etc.
