I think i will get this board since i can get it on sale for slightly more than the M2N32 sli deluxe. I'm just looking for some opinions about this board. I'm getting it with a x2 3800 lol, and overclocking and a 1900xt, so i really wanted a crossfire board but they look like crap and arn't available so screw it i'm tired of waiting

First of all, this is the best am2 mobo money can buy, if you got the money this is the board to get.

I havn't personally seen or used one but I have heard some really great things about it since it has a lot of innovative features...

There were a few issues early on:
I have read that there are some errors with processor and memory lcd posts as well as raid configuration problems but its all fixed now. At initial release there were a ton of doa mobo's but it's all been fixed now as well.

The motherboard itself is the most advanced motherboard to date with a ton of new and innovative features that top all the other motherboard manufacturers. If your looking for some really nice features this board is the way to go. It comes with the largest mobo manuel ever (over 100 pages)very well documented. Also it's really good at overclocking. The heat pipe is very efficient.

People often refer to this board as being the most well setup:
-After market heatsinks won't interfer/touch any other components.
-3 pci slots, and two of them accessable even if your using sli graphics cards that take up 2 slots.
-6 sata ports (insane)
-Up to 8 gigs memory for vista
-And it comes with 3dmark 06 advanced

Ya i like all the features. O like the leds on the board, cause it looks cool and its nicee to be able to see. I like the backlit I/O panel, and i like the lcd just in case. I also like the onboard power/reset and the ummm, reset bios button thing i'm not exactly sure but it resets bios if you screw up overclocking.

Well, i don't know about the aftermarket heatsinks, and don't much care about 3dmark06 (being a Winblows app.), but i'd hardly call the others anything special.

My recently-purchased M2N-SLI/DXE has 3 PCI slots, and you can also use 2*PCI and 1*PCIe x1 with two dual-slot PCIe x16 video cards.
It's also got 8 SATA ports (1 on the back), and also supports 8gb RAM (i'm putting in 2*1GB TWINX5400, even though linux can get away with <256, no vista will ever appear on this mobo)

i'm just wondering what the point of the Crosshair's onboard LCD is. as for the sound, anyone serious (or with money to waste), will probably already have an x-fi...

Yeah i'm not buying it just because its the best, i'm buying it because its the same price as the M2N32-SLI DELUXE  It also has sata ports on the back that i'll never use as i have the aerocool coolpanle which has them, and i won't use the on board sound as i'm getting an auzentech x-plosion for z-5500 speakers. I was also worried about putting my zalman 9500 cooler on it because of the gigantic heatpipe but i've now seen reviews where it fits no problem.
