similar price to your original, but better balanced. the 380 is all you need for 1920x1080 games, the i3-6100 will run rings around the FX 8300
 


The processor is only a 2 core compared to the 8 core of the FX 8300. When rendering, will this not have a major impact on the performance? The 380 is a tiny bit more costly than the 290x, and it performs to a much lower standard. I will take your input on that, as I've noticed that the voltage is a lot lower. Moreover, can I use the motherboard to overclock this processor if I decide to in the future?
 


The price jump is quite significant, but I'm liking the case. Another build has been posted on this thread at a smiliar price to the build I designed. Could you give me your opinions on it?
