What is the general consensus regarding this game? It looks pretty
damn cool and I like the idea of being able to play parts of it on my
gba, but it seems like it's really a multiplayer game and I'm
wondering how good it is if you play single-player. I'll be really
pissed if I fork out $50 for this game only to find out I need to play
with multiple people to get everything. I play RPGs... I'm not a
people person.

The fact that no one understands you doesn't mean you're an artist.

I found it really quite disappointing. It's very repetetive, you have
no real sense of character advancement (both story-wise and stat-wise)
and the only challenge is that of finding enough time to cast Cure.
And the story is rubbish. 😛

Regarding multiplayer, it picks up a bit and can be fun for a while
combining spells (although you'll find it much harder being a good
mage than in single-player) but it can be VERY frustrating trying to
do ANYTHING in the menus using the GBA, and if you find yourself
trying to change anything at all during a boss fight, you will lose.

Aside from that, it's the best game ever! (Note: untrue)
