I am building a gaming pc and have a budget of about $850. I am hoping to get quite good performance on battlefield 4 on high - ultra settings. How does this look? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2ERg1 opinions? I am quite new to this
Ok not a bad start get rid of the 6200 get the 6300 its better then the 6200 as others have said now the ram you have 1 x4 =4 gig you wont get dual channel that way this will make the system a bit slower ok so you really need 2 x2 on the ram = 4 gig for dual channel and you might want to add another 4 gig later on because your system will use it when you run BF4 other then that the system looks fine the 280 is a beast enjoy.
Thank you for all your help! Cant wait to build this thing. I took all your suggestions but i changed the motherboard. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2EXtE will this still do?
I don't know if you even read my post but you have only 1 stick of ram that's 4 gig.... the system will run slower because you are not running in dual channel mode... you should get 2 x2 = 4 gig or add another 4 gig stick as soon as you can... otherwise your missing out on the benefit of dual channel ram. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1854574/dual-channel-single-channel-memory.html
