Its a pretty solid build, the one thing that I would change is the motherboard, Asrock released a new series of mother boards that have an third party base clock generator so it allows you to overclock non K intel processors. This will allow you to, if you want, to overlcock you i5 as high as you dare to go, you could easily get up to something like 4ghz or higher at a safe and stable temp.

If you are going to use one of these boards, to overclock you CPU you will have to get a higher speed ram to go with it, these boards only support 2133 but if you put in a higher speed it will automatic run at the native motherboard speed. The reason you need high speed ram to overclock on this is because when you base overclock it also overclocks the ram so your ram needs to be a higher speed, I would say 3000-3200 would be good.
Everything else is great.

Change the motherboard to a B150 if you would not do RAID. Get the Samsung 850EVO 250gb ssd.

Change the case to a cheaper one. Also you can get ram for less. You also do not need after market cooler for cpu.

Why the Z170 motherboard without a K version processor may I ask?

I recommended a Z170 board because it was one of the cheapest ATX boards. There were a few boars that cost a few dollars less but they had lesser chipsets. I thught the few extra dollars was worth giving yourself a future option for upgrading to a k chip.
