Opinions on my new build + Open Loop Cooling Help

Hello this is my first post to these forums, i'm looking to get some feedback on this build.
Also if you think it would be worth adding an open loop liquid cooling system for both GPU's as well as the CPU.

Chassis: NZXT Phantom 820 Ultra Tower
CPU: Intel I7-4770K
Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5 Z87
Memory: Kingston HyperX 16GB (2 x 8GB) @ 1600mhz (KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G)
GPU: 2x PNY GTX 770 Enthusiast Edition 2GB (SLI)
SSD: 2x Intel Series 530 240GB SSD (RAID)
Power Supply: Thermaltake Tough power XT TPX-1275M 1275W ATX Power Supply
HDD: 2TB Western Digital Black Edition HDD
No ODD

If you plan on doing some overclocking for the GPUs and CPU then a custom-loop would be the way to go, and the I7-3770k does better for overclocking because the cores are farther apart then in the haswell CPUs.

Distance between cores makes almost no difference since the distance is so tiny anyways. The haswell cpus are more efficient and can match ivy bridge which slightly lower clocks. Adding a custom loop depends on your own preference. Yes, it will allow higher overclocks but theres that amount of money involved. You choose whats best for you

I'd say wait on buying all the water cooling stuff. Its nice don't get me wrong but there is no harm in waiting to see if you find the performance adequate or would prefer more cooling. Albeit for quite a high price (IMO). Water cooling a cpu + two high end GPUs and having enough to overclock them quite highly can get expensive quickly.

Hello and thank you all for your quick response. Benchmarks of these cards show that they run at 80 C at full load and that was my main reasoning as to why an open loop system would be required to SLI these cards. That being said, would it still be worth waiting on doing the open loop?

80C is fine IMO. If you want lower temps you can always ramp up the fan profile. A open loop will enough radiators will prob get the catds to around 45-60
