I have just finished with the latest (redish) build which will be used mostly for gaming, but will run some calculations/simulations in CAD and CAE aswell. If you have any suggestions/improvements, they are always welcome

Since your watercooling the CPU change the CPU from the 2600X to the 2600 as this will save you a bit of money, everything else looks good.

^ yeah, go for 2600, a normal 7200rpm hdd maybe a cheaper nvme ssd like the crucial P1, hp ex900/920 or the adata sx series

For a 2k 165hz, I would suggest the rtx 2070 imo.

Can you go for a case with better airflow?

Since your watercooling the CPU change the CPU from the 2600X to the 2600 as this will save you a bit of money, everything else looks good.

Yeah I just replaced 2600x with 2600 and will OC 2600, should work with AIO cooling.
I also swapped some components to push more into a RTX 2070 instead of 2060 (see below)

Just played with configuration a bit and pushed more into 2070. I would want the PC to fly a bit when looking at SDD/HDD

If you wanna save budget by going for lower specs on PC then drop down the resolution of monitor to get better gaming performance.
