Okay, so my computer is getting old now and i decided that i need a complete over haul. I went on to a website called pcpartpicker and this is what i created from the top and bottom of my list:

CPU: Intel - Core i5 - 7600k 3.8Ghz Quad-Core processor (£189.99)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£25.05)
Motherboard: MSI - B250M GAMING PRO Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (£74.36)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4-2400 Memory (two of these at £86.79 each)
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£84.93)
Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£38.34)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB SC GAMING ACX 2.0 Video Card (£156.49)
Case: Corsair - 760T Black ATX Full Tower Case (£156.70)
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£85.80)
Optical Drive: Asus - DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer (£15.08)
Case Fan: be quiet! - Pure Wings 2 140 61.2 CFM 140mm Fan (£8.66)

Total - £1008.98 if my maths is correct

I ain't the best when it comes to building computers especially as this is my first one, so your expert opinions and any improvements you would make or any cheaper alternatives with similar performance you would recommend would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean.

PS this computer will be mainly used for gaming.

2 separate sticks may not work, always but from a pack of 2 ram sticks.
