Hi i'm going to build a PC very soon and just wanted some opinions on it before i start buying components!
Just so you know i'm on a very tight budget and these components are the cheapest i've found them. If you know of anywhere that i can get them cheaper please let me know!
Also if you have had any poor or good experiences with the websites i'm buying them from please let me know that also.
core i5-3570k (£170) OR preferably a core i3-3225 (£105)
GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3P Intel B75 (Socket 1155) Micro-ATX Motherboard (£57)
PNY XLR8 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£38)
OCZ Vertex 2 100GB SSD (£70)
1TB Hitachi HUA721010KLA330 Ultrastar SATA 3GB/s 3.5" Hard Drive (£38)
Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower Case (£35)
Hannspree HE225DPB 21.5" 1080p Monitor (£86)
Novatech PowerStation 400W Silent ATX2 Power Supply - OEM (£24)
So thats £453 with the core i3 OR £518 with the core i5 (If i have added up right)
This is with out software.
Everything is bought from Amazon.co.uk, aria.com or novatech.com
So.. thoughts? I'll be mainly using this for programming, media, e-mail and internet browsing. Maybe some gaming in the future. I intend to buy a GTX 660ti at a later date if i decide to do some gaming.
Thanks for reading! please give your opinion, the more the merrier!
p.s Does anyone know where i can get windows 8 cheap? i'm a student so apparently i can get it cheaper than usual?
Also In the future i intend to get a second SSD and make this into a dual boot windows 8 and OSX hackintosh.
Thanks!
