Opinions on these components ?

I'm planning on buying a new machine and I found one that I quite like so before purchasing it I wanted to get some opinions, mainly on the CPU and also the GPU which are the following :

CPU : AMD FX-6300. It has 6 cores and runs at 3.5Ghz or up to 4.1 in turbo mode. It looks pretty good I think but I'd like to know what people have to say about it.
GPU : Nvidia GeForce GTX960 2 Go DDR5

The motherboard is Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 and the power supply is 500W. I'm assuming the one who put this together know what they're doing but tell me if you think there's something wrong with that.

The main use I wanna make of it is gaming. Also just to clarify, I'm not looking for a machine that will run everything in ultra settings at high fps, but rather one that will give me decent fps on decent settings in 1920x1080

No, everything is fine from my point of view. But one thing I want to ask you is whether you wan't this PC for gaming, heavy-program work or normal everyday use? If it's for gaming I think that you should get something with 4 cores and more clock speed cause that's what matters the most in games. If it's for heavy-program use then ( depends on programms) it's kinda okkkkishh..;; for everyday use it's Ok 😉

Thanks I did say in the last sentence that I want it for gaming. So What kind of clock speed do you think would be decent ?( I thought that 3.5/4.1 was rather high) And do you think that potentially, I could upgrade to that kind of cpu in the future ?(considering the motherboard and power supply)
