This is my first build. I want a system for mostly photo editing and multi tasking, with some light video editing. I want the option to be able to upgrade my CPU in a few years to support greater video editing. I'd appreciate some opinions on this build I've created. And any suggestions to improve it. Thanks!

"A few years"probably means buying used parts. Is that an acceptable upgrade path? There is no guarantee that new AMD products for that motherboard will be available.

It's a decent build but for $500 you can do a better CPU and motherboard combo. For a little bit more you can get a 12600k and a cheap z690 board. Or for a lot less the 12400 and a nice b660

A year or two maybe? Or do you suggest something different that could be upgraded in the future? 12600k like someone else suggested?
