Hello, im in the process of finalizing components for the new system I would be building and would like to know if you guys reckon this would be a suitable motherboard for what I'm after.
I will 100% be using the i7 6700k and plan to give it a mild to decent over clock (nothing too overboard).
The motherboard I have narrowed down to is the MSI Z170A Krait Gaming motherboard.
I am only looking to spend $200-240 max (AUD) and for all the other z170 boards between this price point I found none seemingly were as good as the Krait as I particularly like that the Krait is SLI compatible (I do not want crossfire), has 6 sata 3 ports, abundance of rear USB ports, two cpu headers plus 3 system fan headers and plenty of pcie slots plus extra nice future proof things like m.2 and sata express etc. Audio features aren't a factor as I have a dedicated sound card. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is the BIOS and how well it over clocks etc. Also don't care at all about the appearance of the motherboards. Does anyone have any experience or know if this is as good as a board as it seems for the price it's at (about $240 regularly and possibly as cheap as $200 with a good deal). Thanks !
