I want to buy myself a new psu for my new system.I am looking at this piece:https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00LMBWSI8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&psc=1 .I have an r9270x and will be getting a ryzen 1300x as a cpu.I looked online for reviews and everything seems good, but would apreciate it if i got some opinions from the community.Thanks in advance!

Yeah i looked into the newer models, but obviously they are more expensive so im really thinking is it worh to spare some more money to get a newer model.

VS is dead last in terms of Corsair quality , I would get a CX550 or CXM550 , both platforms were improved fairly recently.

The VS will run it but you take a hit in terms of build quality.

Trust me, you don’t want to cheap out on a psu. Cheap out on the gpu, cheap out on the case, cheap out on storage, but just don’t for the psu...I learned the hard way...but luckily it was in an old machine rather than my first build. (Never get Raidmax, even if it has lights)

I think i might get a newer one and lend some ram from a firend of mine, because all cheaper ram is out of stock and i have some more spare money for a better psu.I hope that ram prices go down again, but its not really likely to happen.

The cx450 would do you if by you're budget limited .
Less than €50 & still a far better choice than a vs550.

The cx450 would do you if by you're budget limited .
Less than €50 & still a far better choice than a vs550.

Right now im looking at the cx 550 and cx500 i think both are good enough for the system i will be building.Not that expensive either.

You want the CX550 it's a newer improved platform, don't buy a CX500.

Okay i think this will be it.It is not an old psu in terms of release date, has all the connectors i need and is from a company with good reputation.Thank you for the help a lot.

Yes the CX550 is 2017 release , and the CXM I believe is 2015. Steer clear of the CX500.
