Hi,

I am currently looking to upgrade my PC; and after some searching I have found two different sets of CPUs and GPUs, and I was wondering which set was better?

First Set:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
RTX 2070 Windforce

Second Set:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
AMD RX 5700-XT

They are both fairly similar in price.

Solution
I would get the 3600 over the 2700x for gaming. It's a toss up between the rtx2070 and the 5700xt.

Chose which you want. More power or more features.

Dlss2 doesn't impress me. It makes the game look worse and increases performance.

You know what else makes the game look worse and Increases performance? Turning down settings.
What are you using your PC for?

The 2070 is slightly behind an RX5700xt in gaming performance, however the 2070 does support features like RTX, DLSS, and NVEC which AMD does not support.
The 2700x is noticeably behind a 3600 in gaming performance, thought the 2700x leads in multi core performance.

The first set is way better, than the second. Also nvidia has dlss 2.0which will drastically imptove performance. And the ryzen 7 also has 8 cores while the ryzen 5 has 6. But it's all up to your budget.

I would primarily be gaming / general usage.
