i'm new to gaming/pc building, i don't really have an adequate timeline on how long 2gb vram has been the standard...and how long it took for it to become the standard etc

i realize this is a pretty repetitive question, but I believe there is a lack of threads addressing this issue post BF4, which I believe could potentially sway this poll one way or another

also keep in mind, this is in the context of playing new games on a 1080p monitor with the highest settings

thanks!

2GB is sufficient although games like BF4 are able to use more.

Despite what others might tell you, the fact is you're playing at 1080p and performance won't fall off a cliff just because the game could use more vram.
