I am thinking about buying the Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. I would like to know what you think about this monitor, and if it would be wiser to wait to see what is coming out from CES 2021?

Can your pc run 1440p at 240Hz?

It`s not for this one. I am starting to look into and decide on hardware for a new PC. Yes, the new set up will be able to run at 240Hz and 1440p.

What monitor (s) do you have now, and why are you unsatisfied with them?
1440p 240Hz will be very hard to run both for GPU and CPU.
I highly suggest grabbing a 3080 or a 6800XT if you plan to run it at 1440p 165Hz, and if you are gaming a 5800X will be enough.
If you want to game and do some heavy workstation work,a 5900X or possibly 5950X is what i would go for,simply because it has more cores/threads.
