Hi, guys,
I really need your help here. First, I want to apologize for another similar post but I tried over the past week to read every info that I could find but because I don't have much knowledge about building a PC I find myself drowning in information.
Here's my story. I currently have an I7 3770 with an AMD 7700 series as GPU. It's clear that I need an upgrade (at least for the GPU part).
My monitor is an LG 1080 which it's doing its job for a 3-4 years now. I really don't want to change it in the near future.
-> I don't stream, edit foto/video
-> I just use it for games, movies and browsing
-> I will not over clock
-> I would like to be able to play most of the existing games and the upcoming games at medium/high details. I don't really need ultra or something like that and that's why I don't want to change the monitor
-> I imagine that it's hard to build a future proof PC but I would like for the GPU to last at least for another 3-4 years
For now, my option seems to be the I7 6700k and AMD RX 480 which I understand it's ideal for 1080. I was checking the 3dmark for benchmarks when I realize that the results are not quite good FPS wise (lower than 40-30?). Maybe I'm wrong or I don't know how to interpret them.
What do you guys think? Sorry for the long post but I thought that it's good to write the needs so you can form an oppinion.
