Question Optane Memory on ASUS X542UF?

Hey guys, I need some help here. My laptop is ASUS X542UF, i5-8250U, 8gb ddr4 ram. Is my motherboard support optane memory? I asked ASUS agent and they said they cannot help me since it is not listed in the manual. I'm not sure it has a m2 slot for optane memory so I decided to disassemble it. I saw a m2 slot there so I insert the module. Then I boot into windows 10 ver1903, and install Intel Rapid Storage Technology. After that, I boot into BIOS ver 304 (latest BIOS for my laptop) and go to SATA mode selection. However, there is only AHCI to select only. It should have 'Intel RST Premium with Optane System' to be selected but no! (Oh, my disk is gpt format and bios is UEFI ) So I go to device manager to see whether it is detected or not but still no! Then I go cmd >diskpart>list disk and there is no optane detcted. I don't know what to do now... Anyone willing to help me? Thx.

You would be far better off with an M.2 SSD then that useless optane
