Opteron Power Requirements

Will I be okay using an Opteron 170 with a 380W PSU.

It is a Seasonic, if this influences anything.

I have one DVD drive, one floppy drive, one 80GB HDD, 2 GB of RAM and a 7600GT.

On one side of the power supply there should be a table showing max Amps available on the various different voltage rails ... can you look and tell us how many Amps are available on the 12volt rail?

With that setup you're fine.

If you choose to upgrade the graphics card in the future, you may need to consider a better power supply (depending on how power hungry the new card is).

The Opteron is the last upgrade for the system. It won't be used for gaming after a couple more years.
