Optical Drive For New Case

So I'm building a new computer and I'm going to be purchasing the NZXT S340 Elite case. Is it required that I need to purchase a optical drive so I can install Windows 7 and the drivers that I will be needing? I heard that I can install Windows 7 from a USB flash drive and install the drivers on my motherboard's website without purchasing a optical drive, not sure if I would have any trouble doing this. Can you guys recommend me any optical drives that would fit my case fine so I can install windows? Or should I just install Windows 7 from a USB and install the drivers off of the motherboard's website?

Just install everything with a USB drive. Save yourself $20.
