What does it mean if a DVD burner is described as "duplication grade"

and if it is "archival"

Oh, and is true that I should avoid those sold as OEM ?

OEM ones are just fine, it just means it comes as a standalone reader, no fancy box, or driver discs or anything. The one I'm using is OEM now.

OEM = NO SATA CABLE , NO Software included , Are just fine to purchase , just have a spare SATA cable.

What is "duplication grade" and "archival" mean, when describing a DVD burner? There was no context from which to infer.

Usually refers to types of media.

Duplication grade is simply a generic disc. Archival means it is rated to last much, much longer. I think the rating is like 100 years or something like that.
