optical drive on my laptop

my asus x553ma laptop looks like it has a optical drive but there's no way to open it.

Not all current laptops actually have a DVD drive. Does yours?

If you click on the folder on windows, go to 'This PC', and look for an optical drive under "Devices and drives'.

It should say something about an optical drive. If you double click it, it should open. Assuming you have one anyways.
