Hi guyz, so a couple of days ago, i finished my 2nd gaming rig which has an LG 14x blu ray drive.... and didn't know that it has some major problems... cause today after i got my paycheck.. i decided to buy some blu ray discs and pc video games... however after i putted the video disc on my OD.. nothing happens... if i click the BD-RE Driver it would just say 'please insert a disc' even though theres a disc inside... so i changed the video game disc to a blu ray since i though that maybe the video game was probably just damaged... however it did the same thing on my blu ray discs.... i didn't expect this type of problem since when i installed the windows 7 on this desktop. it was the same OD that i used... can anybody help me? do i need to activate my OD or something?

You shouldn't need to activate anything. If the drive worked before and now it doesn't, most likely the drive failed. I don't think there's any real way to fix those aside from just replacing them.

so, I dunno what's wrong >.<

Well, if it worked before and doesn't work now.... Most likely all that's telling you is that the computer detects the drive and is getting a signal back. It could be the lens is damaged and that may not show up on an error check.
