Optical to 2nd Hard Drive (Laptop) SATA Question

The optical drive seems to have smaller SATA-looking connection that I've never seen before, so my question, how exactly do I remove the optical drive and replace it with a 2nd HDD?

There's screw that you have to remove so that you can take out the optical drive. after that you need to buy a caddy so that the connector will fit.

For some laptops you can buy a caddy that allows you to fit a 2.5" HDD.

What you can buy will depend on what laptop you have.

Buy whatever adapter thing the manufacturer makes.

I have a DVD drive out of a Dell laptop...like yours, the SATA power connection is non standard.
