Opticle sensors and mouse pad colors

Hello!

I am doing a white/black setup and have a roccat lua mouse which has an optical sensor and i wanted something like the MM300 mouse lad from corsair but have read that colors especially brighter colors, is that true and would it work fine if i use that mouse pad.

An optical sensor only looks at the highlights and shadows of the work surface.

I use a Logitech G502 optical mouse on a Corsair MM300 mouse mat without any tracking problems at all.

Yes. It's not sensing color, only surface texture.
