optimal case fan placement

This is the maximum amount of fans you can fit in:
FRONT, 2 X 120mm (optional)
REAR, 1 X 120mm(included)
TOP, 2 X 120/140mm
BOTTOM, 1 x 120mm
If you don't want to fill the whole case, I would strongly recommend putting at least one 120mm fan in the front of the case.

well seeing that my motherboard only supports 2 fans ill get two of them but where should i put them and should it be intake or exhaust?

You'll want to have the fan included with the case at the back, configured as exhaust, and the one you've bought at the front of your case - preferably closest to GPU, configured as intake. Although, if you ever want to add more fans, you can buy a fan controller, or even just buy fans that plug directly into your PSU (although they will run at full speed constantly).
